Born and raised in the Alaskan outdoors, Willow Clark recognizes and respects the duality of nature; beautiful, yet dangerous. Many of her paintings showcase nature's moments worth capturing and preserving to memory.
Just as we catch a defining look in the eyes of our loved ones, Willow paints nature's moods and the unique characteristics that are part of each place she chooses as her subject matter. In addition to her landscapes, Willow Clark also enjoys exploring visual narrative through Illustration, Ceramics, Sculpture and Fiber Arts. As an art educator, Willow brings her personal experiences and artistic growth into her classroom to share with her students. Willow Clark holds a B.S. in Graphic Design (2005) from the Art Institute of Portland and is currently wrapping up a M.A. in Art Education from the Art of Education University. |
